95 Parker Score for Sophia - 17/11/2011

The much anticipated Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate New Zealand report was released this month with the 2009 Craggy Range ‘Sophia’ (equal) topping the list of 892 wines with an impressive score of 95 Points.

In total, Craggy Range received scores of above 90 points for 11 of our wines, given only to outstanding wines of exceptional complexity and character and are considered the very best produced of their type.

The report was full of praise for the wines of our fair country, commenting that “it’s hard to find fault with New Zealand wines. On the whole, the wines are a joy to review,” and specifically noted Craggy Range as a “superlative producer making truly unique, complex wines.”
